INPUT: If the Smart Card cannot be read then the User Interface shall replace the ‘Please Wait’ screen with an error frame telling the user to contact the SA because the card data could not be read.

PROCEDURE: 1. Insert card into reader when "card reader is read" displaying "Card reader detected."
2. Put in bad card ("locked out" or "expired" on the card).
3.  Enter in a random password (444444).
4. Wait for red colored message on LUI to display  "Card is Locked.Number of attempts exceeded. Remove card and contact the card administrator."

OUTPUT: Failure Reading the SmartCard. Error message should display when using a bad card.
