</li><li value="2">Make sure Scan to Internet Fax is configured in CWIS and also SMTP Connection Encryption SSL/TLS is on.<br />

</li><li value="3">Make sure Login methods for Touch UI method should be set as "User Name / Password Validate on the Network"<br />

</li><li value="4">LDAP should be configured in CWIS .<br />
<br />
</li><li value="5">FIPS should be either enabled or disabled via CWIS-&amp;gt;Properties-&amp;gt;Security-&amp;gt;Encryption-&amp;gt;FIPS 140-2.</li></ol>

PROCEDURE: <p></p>
<ol><li value="1">On the WUI of the device Navigate to the Properties Tab-&amp;gt;Services-&amp;gt;Select Internet fax setup and configure SMTP server manually and enter IP address port number and device email address properly.<br />

</li><li value="2">At this page choose the Connection Encryption tab and Select the Radio Button SSL/TLS and apply settings.<br />

</li><li value="3">Configure POP3 server and enter valid IP address port number and enter valid login name password &amp;amp; save the settings.<br />

</li><li value="4">Configure the LDAP servers in the device via CWIS-&amp;gt;Properties-&amp;gt;Login/ Permissions/Accounting-&amp;gt;Edit LDAP servers and enter the necessary information.<br />
<br />
</li><li value="5">In LUI ,as a guest user select the Internet fax service-&amp;gt; add valid email recipients and run the job and confirm the job should be successful.<br />
<br />
</li><li value="5">Download the auditlog via CWIS-&amp;gt;Properties-&amp;gt;Security-&amp;gt;Auditlog and extract the downloaded auditlog zip file.<br />

</li><li value="7">Check the tls.txt file for the SMTP entries.<br />
<br />
</li><li value="8">Follow the above step (1-4) to login with Network user in LUI and run email job and check the auditlog.<br />
<br />
</li><li value="9">Follow the above step (1-3) and also Configure Smart card authentication in WebUI and in LUI login using either alternate login/Swiping valid card reader and run the email job and check the auditlog log.</li></ol>
