1. Make sure that the "Remote Software Download" configuration settings is disable it from CWIS.
2. Make sure that the Smart eSolutions is configured in device; Enrolled and is communicating with the Remote Server.
3. Make sure that the XIM DMS Server is accessible.
4. Make sure that the PSIP Control Manager server Accessible by device.
5. Make sure that a valid SW Upgrade/Downgrade file Weblet file Clone file Reconfiguration files are uploaded in DMS Server.
6. MIB Tool is installed in test PC or a Linux box installed with MIB Directories.
PROCEDURE:
1. Through MIB Tool try to enable "Remote Soft1.ware Download" by entering the following MIB Command:
snmpset -v2c -cprivate DEVICE_IP xcmSvcMonServiceMgmtOperation.38 i 2225 xcmSvcMonServiceMgmtAdminPassword.38 s 1111 xcmSvcMonServiceMgmtData.38 s OI=1.3.6.1.4.1.253.8.74.6.2.1.7.38.162.143.1:OV=1:
2. Select the valid Software upgrade /downgrade file from Control manager App and Publish it.
3. Do a manual datapush by Cwis ->Properties ->Remote Services Setup -> Click " Synchronize Now" button.
4. Once the device syncs with the Smart eSolution Server the device detects SW Upgrade file via GRS.
5. Observe that the device downloads the SW upgrade file and this can be seen in device console OR can be checked in folder : /var/opt/nc/dlms/remoteServicesProxy/xrs/sdm/. Note: Downloading of Payload can be seen in path: /var/opt/nc/dlms/remoteServicesProxy/xrs/sdm/
6. Download the auditlog via CWIS->Login as Admin->Select Properties->Security->Audit log->Click the Export option to save the log to your work station.
7. Unzip the auditfile.zip file and verify the event:153 for Remote Services Software Download is captured in the main auditfile.txt.
8. Repeat steps 2-7 for a valid Weblet file.
9. Repeat steps 2-7 for a valid Clone file.
10. Repeat steps 2-7 for a valid Reconfiguration file.
OUTPUT:Auditfile.txt file should captured the below information: Event ID:153
