1. Make sure that the "Remote Software Download" configuration settings is in its default value "Enabled" if not enable it from CWIS.
2. Make sure that the Smart eSolutions is configured in device; Enrolled and is communicating with the Remote Server.
3. Make sure that the XIM DMS Server and PSIP Control Manager server are accessible.
4. Make sure that an invalid DLM Signature SW Upgrade file Weblet Clone Reconfiguration file (this can be created by modifying or deleting some DLM Signature information's) is uploaded in DMS Server.
PROCEDURE:
1. Select the Invalid DLM signature SW upgrade/downgrade file from Control manager App and Publish it.
2. Do a manual datapush by Cwis ->Properties ->Remote Services Setup -> Click " Synchronize Now" button.
3. Once the device syncs with the Smart eSolution Server the device detects SW upgrade/downgrade file via GRS.
4. Observe that the device downloads the SW upgrade/downgrade file and this can be seen in device console OR can be checked in folder : /var/opt/nc/dlms/remoteServicesProxy/xrs/sdm/. Note: Downloading of Payload can be seen in path: /var/opt/nc/dlms/remoteServicesProxy/xrs/sdm/
5. Download the auditlog via CWIS->Login as Admin->Select Properties->Security->Audit log->Click the Export option to save the log to your work station.
6. Unzip the auditfile.zip file and verify the event:153 for Remote Services Software Download is captured in the main auditfile.txt.
7. Repeat step 1-6 for a invalid DLM Signature Weblet file.
8. Repeat step 1-6 for a invalid DLM Signature Clone file.
9. Repeat step 1-6 for a invalid DLM Signature Reconfiguration file.
OUTPUT:Auditfile.txt file should captured the below information: Event ID:153
