1.MFD should be upgraded with latest build.
2.Both MFD & Certificate Authority server should be in the same network.
1.In CWIS goto properties--security--certificate--click security certificate.
2.Goto CA device certificate tab and click create CSR. This will redirect to Create Certificate Signing Request (CSR) page & fill the details provided in that page and give finish -> Now the CSR is created successfully.
3.Now Goto Security certificate page you can able to see the CSR which you have created. click view/export in action tab now you can able to view the certificate details-- click Export. A csr.pem format text character will open. copy the text character.
4.a)Now open the certificate server 192.168.100.2/certsrv; select a task--Request a certificate--advanced certificate request --under the saved request paste the text character--drop down the certificate template and select user and submit. A new CA device certificate will created successfully and downloaded in your PC.
b)Open the Certificate server 192.168.100.2/certsrv;Click on -- Download a CA certificate, certificate chain, or CRL - -- Select Base 64 under encoding Method -- click on Download CA certificate.A new CA device certificate will created successfully and downloaded in your PC.
5.Goto WebUI security certificate page--CA device certificate tab--click install certificate --browse the certificates which has created and save.
6.check whether the CA certificate is installed successfully.
a)The imported CA device certificate should be in .pem encoded format.
b). The import/installation of certificate should be in Base 64 encoded format.
