  1. Upgrade the MFD to D2.9 or above builds which should install the default weblets and the certificates wrapped in the weblet.

  2. Weblet wrapped with certificates should be available (Make sure the weblet is containing 1024/512 bit certificates).

  3. WebUI must be accessible.

  4. User should Logged in as SA.

  5. FIPS must be disabled.

PROCEDURE:

  

  1. Navigate to Properties-> Custom Services -> Weblet Management.

  2. Choose the weblet which have been already created and stored In the PC.

  3. Click the install button. After a couple of minutes check the WebUI and LUI for installed Weblet and certificates.

  4. Now navigate to Properties-> Security -> Encryption -> FIPS 140 -2 and enable the FIPS.

OUTPUT:

Device should report an error message if the user tries to enable the FIPS mode Where any of the installed certificate's minimum key length does not matches with the minimum key length requirements.
