(That does not necessarily translate to 127 characters though, as it can be a UTF-8 string that uses more than one octet to encode a single character.)

PROCEDURE: 1: From the IPP page on the device, enable IPP and enable identify printer option on the device.\
1: ipptool is installed on the MAC PC.\
2: Submit ipptool identify printer with flash action to the device as follows :-
ipptool -tv ipp://$device-ip/ipp/ Identify-printer-display-msg.test where Identify-printer-display-msg.test is the test file placed in the same location as the ipptool or provide the complete path of the file if the file is stored in another location specifying more than 127 octets.

OUTPUT: The Identify printer message will be displayed on the device LUI and and when the identify printer message job is sent with more than 127 octets, the message string will be limited to 127 octets on the device LUI.
