1.MFD is in wired mode.
2.MFD should be flashed with D3.6 or above builds.
3. WebUI must be accessible.
4. User should Logged in as SA.
5. Ensure zero configuration (auto IP) is enabled in MFD.
PROCEDURE:1.Make the MFD IP address resolution to Static.
2. From Server manager, deactivate the scope for DHCPv4.
3.Now change the IP address resolution in MFD from Static to Dynamic via WEBUI/LUI
4.MFD will obtain a self assigned address(169.254.x.x) .
5. In Device backchannel, enter the below command attach_cc
6. Select option 2 (App main menu)
7. Then type "z" and enter
8. Select option 12 (status manager menu)
9.Select option 1 (Display status list)
10.Check for status code 17-526-02 under display status list.
11.Now re-activate DHCP scope from server manager and reset the device IP Stack to deafault via Webui/Lui.
12.MFD will get an Ip address from DHCP server.
1. A Status message should display on the Device LUI, SR2 region stating "Limited IPv4 Connectivity. The device failed to dynamically obtain an IPv4 address from a server. Only a self assigned IPv4 address is available. Notify your local System Administrator."
2.Status Code 17-526-02 should be generated and listed under Display status list.
3.Status message should be cleared from the device SR region once DHCP server comes back online.
