PROCEDURE: <p></p><p><br />
1.Create 2 vlan in switch(lets vlan100 &amp;amp; Vlan200)<br />
2.Create a linux setup with udhpd running on it and the linux server should have 2 ethernet port.(lets eth0 &amp;amp; eth1)<br />
3.Create 2 DHCP scope one for eth0 and one for eth1.<br />
4.while creating scope for eth1 do not configure gateway address. only eth0 have proper scope with gateway address.<br />
5.Connect the MFD to the subnet that eth1 is running on.<br />
6.The MFD will get an IP address from DHCP server but not a gateway address.<br />
7.Now try to ping from vlan100 (which the MFD is on) to vlan200 (i.e. another client on this vlan) from the MFD and the ping should not be able to complete since there is no gateway configured on the MFD.<br />
8.Check for fault code 16-526-00 under fault history.</p>

OUTPUT: <p></p><p>Fault code 16-526-00 should be generated and listed under fault history.</p>
