Test requires a active Router/AP and Xerox Wireless USB Adapter which supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands and Wi-Fi modes (Edimax EW-7822UAC - AC1200 Wireless Dual-Band USB 3.0 Adapter). 2. Confirm rear USB ports are enabled. PROCEDURE: 1. Do the below configurations In Router/AP and save the changes • Give two different names for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands (i.e. ASUS-2G and ASUS-5G) • Configure the Router's/AP's Wi-Fi mode as IEEE 802.11a. • Configure the Router's/AP's frequency band as 5 GHz. 2. Insert the Xerox Wireless USB Adapter (which supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands and Wi-Fi modes) into the MFD's rear USB port. 3. LUI will display a pop up that prompts the user to select either "Continue wireless install" or "Skip wireless setup". 4. Click on "Continue wireless install" which will display the available networks. 5. Select the SSID of the corresponding wireless AP ((i.e. ASUS-5G ) and enter the valid configurations (which should match the configurations applied in router and server) and save the changes by clicking on "Done" button. 6. Join the network and Fetch the device new IP address from LUI or console and access the device CWIS using the new IP. 7. Check whether the CWIS is accessible and communicating properly in 5 GHz frequency with IEEE 802.11a mode and Send a print job to confirm connection. 8. Remove the Xerox Wireless USB Adapter Switch the device back to wired and Reconfigure the Router's/AP's Wi-Fi mode as IEEE 802.11n for 5 GHz frequency band and repeat step 2-7. 9. Check whether the CWIS is accessible and communicating properly in 5 GHz frequency with IEEE 802.11n mode. and Send a print job to confirm the connection. 10. Remove the Xerox Wireless USB Adapter Switch the device back to wired and Reconfigure the Router's/AP's Wi-Fi mode as IEEE 802.11ac for 5 GHz frequency band and repeat step 2-7. 11. Check whether the CWIS is accessible and communicating properly in 5 GHz frequency with IEEE 802.11ac mode and Send a print job to confirm connection. 12. Remove the Xerox Wireless USB Adapter Switch the device back to wired and Reconfigure the Router's/AP's Wi-Fi mode as Mixed Mode for 5 GHz frequency band and repeat step 2-7. 13. Check whether the CWIS is accessible and communicating properly in 5 GHz frequency mixed mode and Send a print job to confirm connection. OUTPUT: 1. Xerox Wireless USB Adapter (which supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands and Wi-Fi modes) should be recognized by MFD in STEP 2. 2. CWIS should be accessible and should communicate properly in 5 GHz frequency with IEEE 802.11a mode and job should be printed successfully in STEP 7. 3. CWIS should be accessible and should communicate properly in 5 GHz frequency with IEEE 802.11n mode and job should be printed successfully in STEP 9. 4.
