1) In CWIS page login as Admin -> Navigate to Properties -> Apps -> Custom Apps -> Weblet Management -> Choose and Install the "LocalStorageTest" Weblets.
2) Go to device LUI -> Select "LocalStorageTest" Weblet -> In Weblet click on "Click me!" button 15 times -> The clicked count saved as "15 times" in the device local storage.
3) Now wait till 12.15AM [Atleast need to wait 15 mints for creating Clone to Self file] in the mid night for clone to self creation. (or) go to CWIS page login as admin -> Properties -> General Setup -> Date and Time -> Set the Manual time to 11.50 PM and wait till 12.15 AM for clone to self creation in the device.
4) Make sure the device has created a Clone-to-Self file.
[In CWIS -> Properties -> General Setup -> Backup & Restore Settings -> Validate the Clone to Self creation. The Clone to self file shall be updated daily at 12:00 AM]
1) Perform Altboot upgrade in the MFP after clone to self file is created.
2) Upon completion of upgrade open the EIP apps/Weblets and check if the previously installed and modified data settings are retained. (e.g. After upgrade open the LocalStorageTest weblet and check the clicked count "15 times" shall be retained).
The previously installed EIP apps/ Weblets and their data settings should be retained even after the Altboot upgrade in the device.
