  1. MFD in good working condition.

  2. Upgrade dlm file having higher BIOS version than that of the device.
    [Note that the BIOS is part of OS module. This test case can be executed only when there is BIOS upgrade included in the build.]

PROCEDURE:

  

  1. Connect the device using Tera Term via serial port. Open Tera Term in PC and enable saving of log to file.

  2. Perform a USB Forced altboot upgrade using dlm having higher BIOS version.

  3. View the logs in Tera Term when the upgrade is in progress. Note the BIOS_VERSION while the device is booting.

  4. In logs check if the BIOS version of the device is compared with the version in version.bios file and the BIOS gets upgraded.
    Note: Step (4) can also be verified from the saved Tera Term log after completion of upgrade.

  4. BIOS should be upgraded to the latest version.
