PROCEDURE:First locate the devices System SW level prior to upgrade. From IE you can either print a configuration page or check from the Web UI (Status > Configuration Report) The easiest SW upgrade is from the Web UI. From IE type the IP address in the URL bar - Hit Enter. Select Properties > General Setup > Machine Software > Manual Upgrade. Select the ‘Browse’ button and locate the save SW set (make sure it’s a newer version). When a new System Software Set is installed on the machine the system software set version number updates to the version associated with the new System Software set.
OUTPUT:From the a configuration sheet or from the Status report on the Web UI confirm that the sw version number has been updated. When a new System Software Set is installed on the machine the system software set version number updates to the version associated with the new System Software set.
