SUMMARY: [D2.6 - *] If an Embedded fax card is physically installed, but the fax software is in the process of installing, or the fax card is not enabled, then a request to run Job Data Removal/ Disk Overwrite shall result in data removal occurring on the other platforms but not on the fax platform – no Fax data removal confirmation report shall be printed. Note that in these cases the NC data removal confirmation report will show Not Installed for the fax memory component. (In the rare case (short time window) , where the fax card has just been installed/enabled but has not yet come online when a data removal is started, then the NC confirmation report would show the fax memory component as failing the data removal.)
