TESTCASE_HEADLINE: To check if the Inbox apps, and their data settings are retained/not retained upon different Upgrade methods

PROCEDURE: Pre-upgrade: 1. Login to the device as ‘admin’. 2. From the device Home screen launch the Xerox App Gallery application * You will be prompted for User Id/Password. Enter them based on the previously created Xerox App Gallery account. * You will then be prompted about whether to use the current account for all users on the device. Select the “Use This Account” button. * Verify that you can see the Apps displayed by the Xerox App Gallery application * Return to the Home screen via the device hard button for Home. * Select the ‘Reset’ button and a popup will appear. * Select the ‘Reset All Apps’ button on the popup. * Verify that ‘admin’ is no longer logged in. * From the device Home screen 3. launch the Xerox App Gallery application Perform Upgrade: * Perform the specific below mentioned upgrade(s). i) Altboot * WEB UI Overlay * USB Manual Overlay * Forced Altboot (Revert to Previous Settings) upgrades. [Repeat the same
steps from FT-21229_001,FT-21229_002,FT-21229_003,FT-21229_004 and see the Expected Result:2] * ii) Forced Altboot with Disable Data Backup * Altboot with Disable Data Backup upgrades. [Repeat the same steps from FT-21229_005,FT-21229_006 and see the Expected Result:2 ] * From the device Home screen launch the Xerox App Gallery application

OUTPUT: Pre-upgrade: • Expected Result:1 It will not be necessary to login again (i.e. There will be no prompting as described in Step3). Post -Upgrade: • Expected Result:2 i) In the cases where InBox data is to be preserved it will not be necessary to login to the Xerox App Gallery application ii) In the cases where InBox data is NOT preserved it will be necessary to login to the Xerox App Gallery application.
