TESTCASE_HEADLINE: The default state for each of the Listening Ports defined in this specification shall be open and have to check whether any unwanted ports are shown in port scanning tool through Retina Vulnerability Scanner.

INPUT: This test case needs to be run in a wireless environment

1.Retina Vulnerability Scanner should be installed ,patched and updated successfully and its should be open properly from a client PC.

PROCEDURE: Retina Test Procedure: 
1. make the device at default set 
2. Boot the printer with latest firmware version. Open Retina Network Security Scanner from a Client PC. 
3. Click on Discover Tab, Select the Target Type as Single IP and Address as printer’s IP Address and click on Discover Button. Once the device is in the network has been successfully discovered navigate to the Audit Tab. Discovered Devices shall displayed on the Results Section. 
4. On Audit Tab Select the Target Type as Single IP and Address as the printer’s address given on the Step 2. Add the File Name and Job Name as for our identity. 
5. Click on Scan Button on Audit Tab. Audit Tab shall display the scan which is currently running on the Scanner. 
6. Once the scan shall be successfully completed, Status column has been changed into completed. 7. Navigate into Report Tab; Select the report type as Summary and Executive Report and Click on Generate Button. Generated Report shall be displayed on Results section and click on Save Report option from the left sub tree to save the report.

Note: Only the listening ports are listed.  The device may open several other ports for sending (e.g. 25 for SMTP, 389 for LDAP, but since these are not listening ports (i.e. an outside source cannot push data to the device via these ports), they are not required to be locked down.

OUTPUT: 1.Retina Network Security Scanner should not display this below ports as open: TCP:9100 for Port 9100 and TCP:443 for HTTPS. 2.If any other unwanted ports or services shall be reflected in the report. Share this report to system security expert for through analysis on port scan results.
