1.Make sure device is in latest build
2.IPP should be enabled on the device.
3.Latest version of ipptool is installed on the MAC PC.
4.Use test document more than 2 pages for printing.

PROCEDURE:

1.In EWS,Login as admin
2.Navigate to properties-->Apps-->printing
3.Select the 'General'-->Defaults & Policies
4.Set '2 Sided Printing' as 2-sided print(Flip on short Edge) and save the settings in EWS
5.Navigate to IPPtool in MAC PC
6.Submits an ipp print job to the printer using command line ipptool by following the steps mentioned in "Perform Print-job operations (ipptool -tv -f <file to be printed> ipp://<device ip>/ipp/print <Print-job.test file for two-sided-long-edge>)
7.Observe the Output
\ EX: ipptool -tv -f /users/plqa/Desktop/Scan\ 2.jpeg ipp:// 10.61.11.239 /ipp/print /Users/plqa/Desktop/folder/print-job.test
8.Submits an ipp print job to the printer using command line ipptool by following the steps mentioned in "Perform Print-job operations(ipptool -tv -f <file to be printed> ipp://<device ip>/ipp/print one-sided.test)
9.Observe the Output
10.Submits an ipp print job to the printer using command line ipptool by following the steps mentioned in "Perform Print-job operations(ipptool -tv -f <file to be printed> ipp://<device ip>/ipp/print two-sided-short-edge.test)
11.Observe the Output

Note1: Print-job.test file for one-sided,
 just uncomment the value is one-sided attribute into the file.
\ Note2: Print-job.test file for two-sided-long-edge,
 just uncomment the value is two-sided-long-edge attribute into the file.
\ Note3: Print-job.test file for two-sided-short-edge,
 just uncomment the value is two-sided-short-edge attribute into the file.

OUTPUT:

4.In default & Policies,2 sided printing should be ‘2-sided print(Flip on short Edge)’ in EWS
7.Performed print job should be printed successfully with two-sided-long-edge.
9.Performed print job should be printed successfully with one-sided.
11.Performed print job should be printed successfully with two-sided-short-edge.
