This will also cover the interaction ID Card with other Copy settings. Scan and Output Behavior Copy jobs with Copy From = ID Card will always force scanning from the flatbed. A window corresponding to the calculated ID Card size for that job will be scanned and scaled according to the user scale factor (if not 100%). Each side of the copy media will be partitioned across its long edge into two panes. Each scanned ID Card image will be printed on one of these panes. The order in which the panes are filled will match the order in which N-up panes are filled and will depend on the content orientation of the job. If the scale factor is left at its default of 100%, each image will completely fill the half of the output page corresponding to its pane. (i.e., the printed image will be exactly the same size as the original). If the scale factor 100%, part of the image will be truncated. If the scale factor 100%, each image will be centered in its pane surrounded by a margin of white space. Make sure that ID Card is placed on the correct side of the scanner glass • Start the Copy job • Verify ID Card image is printed on the upper left corner of the output • Verify image is printed from edge to edge and NOT clipped%2c all information on the ID Card are printed • Repeat above steps using 3x5 ID Card (Landscape) • Note: Make sure that FB Edge Erase of Configuration Menu is set to 0 • Set Scan Edge to Edge to OFF • Set Copy From to ID Card • Set Copy To to Tray1 with Letter • Place 2x3.5 ID Card size in Flatbed. Make sure that ID Card is placed on the correct side of the scanner glass • Press Copy it button • Verify ID Card image is printed on the upper left corner of the output • Verify image output is NOT clipped but with noticeable default 2mm edge erase • Please repeat the above steps using 3x5 ID Card (Landscape) • Place ID Card in Flatbed • Note: The dimensions of the ID Card size will be a function of the Copy To size.
