Make sure that ALL paper sizes supported for Auto size sensing for both US and Metric are covered on the scenarios below • Verify the Copy To button on the Copy Options Screen changes to Auto Size Match. • Verify Scale is set to Auto with No numerical value and Grayed out. • Change the Copy To value aside from Auto size match and verify that Scale will remain grayed out • Select Auto Size Sense in Copy From. Copy To is Auto Size Match • Load ADF with original size that supports Auto Size Sense • Load Option Trays with sizes not match the size of Copy from • Start Copy job • Verify that correct prompt will appear in the panel and correct output will be observed. Example: Load ADF with Letter Load Option Trays with paper sizes that does not match Letter Select Auto Size Sense in Copy From w/ default Auto size match in Copy to Press Copy it button or Hard Go button to start Copy job • Verify a 'Copy To - Auto size match Prompt' screen will be displayed. Requires the user to select available Copy to source including Manual Feeder • Go to Copy Workflow • Select Copy From and set Auto Size Sense • Don't load on ADF%2c don't put original on Flatbed or use unsupported paper size • Start scan • Original size will prompt - select each of the sizes on the list • Verify that printer will not crash • Verify also that each of the copied output is correct Please refer to EV380828%2c EV409784 Machines with Flatbed sensor removed (Atlantis) • Place Letter(US) / A4(Metric) size original in Flatbed • Set Copy From to Auto size sense • Press Print it soft button or Start hard button • Verify 'Original Size' prompt screen appears asking user to input the desired size • Verify all FB supported sizes except ID Card%2c Auto size sense and Mixed sizes should be available/seelctable • Verify selecting any size should resume scanning%2c no hang or crash on the screen • Verify subsequent pages will be assumed as the same size as the first one so expect Origina size prompt to be displayed once every COpy job • Verify NO prompt should be displayed using ADF scanner for any supported US/Metric sizes When Copy to Auto size match Prompt screen appears%2c verify that: • Default selection is the value of 'Copy To Source' (under Copy Settings- Admin Menus) • Verify Auto size match is not an option%2c only the supported Trays w/ the corresponding paper size and type and Manual Feeder are available. • Selecting each of the available options except Manual Feeder then press Continue (Done) button%2c verify Scanning process continues as usual. • Verify output is printed from the correct source as selected on the prompt screen • Verify image on the output is scaled correctly unto the printed page • In Auto size Match Prompt screen%2c select Manual Feeder • Verify the list of sizes and types displayed are the same as the paper size list for Manual Paper Source in Copy to screen • Select a size in Manual Feeder screen and press Continue • Verify Manual Feeder- Paper type screen appears • Select a Paper type then press Continue(Done) button • Verify pressing Continue from this screen should start the scanning process. • Verify Panel displays: Scanning... for a few seconds and then the Change Paper Prompt IR is displayed. • Selecting Continue prints the output from Manual Feeder • Select Auto Size Sense in Copy From and Copy To is Auto Size Match • Load ADF with original size that supports Auto Size Sense • Load the trays with letter or a size that match the Copy from size • Verify that printer will pick paper from the tray with match size installed Example: Load ADF with Letter Load the trays with Letter (size that match the size loaded in scan source) Select Auto size sense in Copy from w/ default Auto size Match in Copy to Press Copy it button or Hard Go button to start the Copy job • Verify that it picks the paper match the size of Copy from in Copy to source and image is properly scaled on the output • Load the trays with these sizes Tray 1 - Letter Tray 2 - A4 Tray 3 - Legal Tray 4 - Universal • Select Auto Size Sense in Copy From. • Select specific size in Copy To (size that does not match the original size used in Copy From) • Verify that printer will pick paper from the Tray specified in Copy To.
