INPUT: This test case will verify the Basic Functionality of Sides (Duplex) settings available in Copy screen.
 This covers:​
 • Supported media sizes/types for duplexing​
 • Not supported media type for duplexing ​
 • ADF/FB

PROCEDURE: Note: Refer to Product specs to check the supported sizes/types for Duplexing. 
 • Verify the following paper sizes support Duplexing
 • Set Copy To to these sizes
 • Set Paper Details - Duplex to 2 sided to 2 sided
 • Place Duplex original in ADF

 • Verify image output of the above paper types are printed in Duplex Universal(See Note Below)
 • Duplex is supported on the following Paper Types

 • Colored Paper
 • Light Paper

 • Refer to RIP Specifications or Plan-of-Record for the sizes that support duplexing and minimum and maximum value of Universal that support duplexing.
 • To support duplexing:
 
 • Universal media s height must be between 8.27 inches (210 mm) and 14.00 inches (355.6 mm).
 • Universal media s width must be between 5.5 inches (139.7 mm) and 8.5 inches (215.9 mm).
 • Verify image output of the above sizes are printed in Duplex (Front and Back of the page)
 
 
 • For Paper types Not supported for Duplexing (i.e Transaparency). Verify image output is printed in Simplex even Sides(Duplex) is set to 1sided to 2 sided or 2 sided to 2 sided. 
 
 
 • Load originals in ADF/ FB.
 • Perform the Copy Job using the following combinations for Paper Details using Random combinations of Supported Paper Sizes for Copy From and Copy To each time.
 
 
 • Portrait - 1 Sided Long Edge to 1 Sided Long Edge
 • Portrait - 1 Sided Long Edge to 2 Sided Long Edge
 • Portrait - 1 Sided Long Edge to 2 Sided Short Edge 
 
 • Portrait - 2 Sided Long Edge to 1 Side Long Edge
 • Portrait - 2 Sided Long Edge to 2 Sides Long Edge
 • Portrait - 2 Sided Long Edge to 2 Sides Short Edge 
 
 • Portrait - 2 Sided Short Edge to 1 Sided Long Edge

 • Verify image output is printed as expected. Correct Binding should be applied
 • Verify image at the back side of the output is not cropped or corrupted. 
 
 • EV420079 PA: IQ Black vertical bars on dark images
 
 1. Try using dark images as originals (front and back).
 2. Execute a duplex copy job.
 3. Verify that the copied output has a uniform dark image%2c without any visible vertical bars.
 
 
 • 
 EV638491 PE Issue: Pantum: CM7115DN/CM7105DN (Duplex) Copy/Scan Quality Issue.
 Testing on multiple color scan paths at different resolutions is ideal. 
 
 It will affect Moonraker%2c Skyfall%2c and Jupiter%2c but all should be minimal color shifts.
 Red being less blue is the most noticeable change. You might see Blue being a little less Green as well.
 
 Moonraker and Skyfall should look closer to FW5 after this change.
 Jupiter should look a lot closer to Moonraker after this change.

 repro when Paper Settings is Labels; will prompt if paper setting for type is plain in admin (bypass labels paper type)
