PROCEDURE: GUI Testing
 
 • Remove Floor finisher from the Device
 
 • Select Copy from Home screen panel
 
 • Press Advanced Options button
 
 • Verify Fold is NOT available in Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 
 • Attach a Standard Floor Finisher on the Device
 
 • Select Copy from Home screen panel
 
 • Press Advanced Options button
 
 • Verify Fold is NOT available in Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 
 • Attach a Saddlestitch Floor Finisher on the Device
 
 • Select Copy in Home screen panel
 
 • Press Advanced Options button
 
 • Verify Fold is Available and selectable in Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 
 
 • Press Fold button
 
 • Verify the General Layout and appearance of Fold screen
 
 • Verify screen title is Fold 
 
 
 
 
 • Verify the following options exist
 
 
 • OFF
 
 • Bifold
 
 • Trifold
 
 
 
 • Verify default value of Fold is OFF
 
 • Press Bifold button
 
 • Press Bifold button

 • Verify Fold button is depressed with icon changes to Bifold icon

 • Select Trifold and press Check/Done button
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold button is depressed with icon changes to Trifold icon
 
 • Press Fold button again
 
 • Select OFF and press Check/Done button
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold button is in available state with icon changes to OFF
 
 • Select Fold button again
 
 • Select a non-default value and press Cancel(x) button
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold button is still available with OFF icon
 
 • Note:Pressing Cancel(button) with any non-default value selected will disregard changes
 
 • Go back to Fold screen again
 
 • Press Tips(?) button
 
 • Verify that Tips screen is displayed
 
 • Press Exit button of Tips screen
 
 • Verify you are returned to Fold screen with the previous value still selected
 
WC EC5 changes(P522)
 • Additonal option buttons are addedin Folded screen
 • Verify Staple and Fold and Fold without Stapling buttons are displayed in Fold screen under Off%2c Bi-Fold and TriFold options
 • Verify you can ONLY select One option at a time. When OFF is previously selected%2c selecting Staple and Fold will deselect OFF
 • Set FOLD to Staple and Fold
 • Press Done button
 • Place multiple originals in ADF
 • Press Start go button or Copy it button
 • Verify image output is folded as one and stapled in the center
 • Set Fold to Fold without Stapling
 • Press Done button
 • Place multiple originals in ADF
 • Press Start button or Copy it button
 • Verify image output is folded as one and NOT stapled
Interaction with Create Booklet
 • Set Create Booklet to 1 Sided Booklet and press Staple and Fold or Fold without stapling
 • Press Done button
 • Verify Fold is OFF with Staple and Fold / Fold without Stapling option not in pressed state or higlighted
 • Also verify that changing Fold to Staple and Fold or Fold without Stapling will retain Create Booklet value to OFF
 • Go to Advanced Options - Fold
 • Press Staple and Fold or Fold without Stapling button
 • Press Done button
 • Press Create Booklet button
 • Set Create Booklet to 1 or 2 sided Booklet and press Staple and Fold or Fold without Stapling
 • Press Done button
 • Verify Incompatible settings appear%2c ' Incompatible settings. Fold will be modified'
 • Press Modify option button
 • Verify that Fold becomes OFF without any option higlighted or in pressed state
Incompatibilities
Fold is incompatible with other Finishing options(Staple%2cPunch and Booklet)
 
 • Select COPY in Home screen panel
 
 • Select Staple button
 
 • Change Staple to any non-default value(ie. 1 Staple Portrait) and press Done button
 
 • Go to Copy Advanced Options screen and press Fold button
 
 • Set Fold to Bifold or Trifold and press Done button
 
 • Verify an incompatible message pops up on the screen
 
 • Verify pop up message is Incompatible settings. Staple will be modified with Modify and Do not Modify options
 
 • Select Modify
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify selected value for Fold is saved (Bifold or Trifold)
 
 • Verify Staple value is now OFF
 
 • Create the Incompatible message again
 
 • This time%2c select Do not Modify from the pop up
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold is still set to default OFF
 
 • Verify selected non-default value(1 Staple Portrait) for Staple is saved
 
 
 • Select COPY in Home screen panel
 
 • Go to Advanced Options screen
 
 • Select Fold button
 
 • Change Fold to any non-default value(Bifold or Trifold) and press Done button
 
 • Go back to Copy Options screen and select Punch
 
 • Set Punch to any non-default value(ie. 2 Punch top) and press Done button
 
 • Verify an incompatible message pops up on the screen
 
 • Verify pop up message is Incompatible settings. Fold will be modified with Modify and Do not Modify options
 
 • Select Modify
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Options screen
 
 • Verify selected value for Punch is saved (2 Punch top)
 
 • Verify Fold is now set to OFF
 
 • Create the Incompatible message again
 
 • This time%2c select Do not Modify from the pop up
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold is still set to non-default(Bifold or Trifold)
 
 • Verify Punch is still set to OFF
 
 
 • Select COPY in Home screen panel
 
 • Go to Advanced Options screen
 
 • Select Create Booklet button
 
 • Set Create Booklet to any non-default value(ie. 1Sided or 2Sided Booklet) and press Done button

 • Tray2 = Legal
 
 • Tray3 = SEF A4
 
 • Tray4 = SRA A3 
 
 • Tray 5 = LEF Letter
 
 • Multi Purporse Feeder = LEF A4
 
 
 
 • Select COPY in Home screen panel
 
 • Set Copy To to default Tray 1 with SEF Letter
 
 • Go to Advanced Options screen and press Fold button
 
 • Set Fold to Bifold or Trifold and press Done button
 
 • Go back to Copy Options screen
 
 • Select Copy to and change the option to Tray 2 with Legal 
 
 • Verify an incompatible message pops up on the screen
 
 • Verify incompatible message is Incompatible settings. Copy To will be modified with Modify and Do not Modify options
 
 • Select Modify
 
 • Verify panel returns to Copy Options screen
 
 • Verify Copy To is now set to Tray 2 with Legal
 
 • Go to Advanced Options screen
 
 • Verify Fold button is grayed out ?
 
 • Pressing the button will produce an error beep

 • Verify Post Scan screen of Custom job is displayed after scanning the pages from ADF
 
 • Select Change Settings button
 
 • Change Copy To to any of these sizes that do not support Fold
