PROCEDURE: NOTE: For any UI specific changes/modifications please check the UI Documentation. It is important to view the design documentation during test execution to make sure any recent UI changes are verified. Backpack Staple is a Parity to BPS of Blackbeard so for the more detailed info%2c please refer to Blackbeard RIP specs.
 • Do NOT attach a Backpack Stapler on the device
 • In home screen%2c enter Copy work flow.
 • In Settings list%2c verify that there should be NO setting for Finishing Options .
 • Install a Backpack Stapler on the printer
 • Go to COPY
 • On the Copy screen verify that Finishing Options is an option on the Settings list
 • Press Finishing Options and verify that the drawer will open from the right side
 • Verify the screen appears similar to the following
 
 
 
 • Verify Finishing settings available
 o Staple
 • Verify Staple is a toggle switch with value set to default Off
 • Switch Staple to ON
 • Verify Staple icons with correct labels appear under the On/Off toggle switch
 • Verify the following values exist:
 
 Staple - multiple values
 
 * This setting is only shown if the device has hardware for staple.

 • Verify Finishing Options drawer will be closed and returns to Copy Landing screen when perform any of the following
 o Selecting the list item that is in a selected state on the left side peeking list
 o Pressing the back button
 o Using a left-to-right swipe over the drawer (the swipe gesture to close the drawer is secondary and should not be in conflict with any controls on the drawer such as sliders and pickers)
 
 Staple is incompatible with Create Booklet %2c Collate Not Collated and Fold 
 • Set Staple to On with any value selected
 • Select Collate
 • Set Collate to Off [1%2c1%2c1%2c2%2c2%2c2%2c]
 • Verify an Error Message pops up stating%2c
 Staple is in conflict with the following setting:
 - Collate
 Changing the Collate setting will result in the other settings being modified.
 Do you wish to save the Collate setting? 
 • Verify Error message includes the following TWO Options: No and Yes
 • Select No
 • Verify that you are returned to the previous screen
 • Verify Staple is still set to On with previous value still in pressed state
 • Verify Collate still set to On [1%2c2%2c1%2c2%2c1%2c2]
 • Select Yes
 • Verify you are returned to the previous screen with message Collate has been changed to Off [1%2c1%2c1%2c2%2c2%2c2] 
 • Verify Collate is set to Off [1%2c 1%2c 1%2c 2%2c 2%2c 2] 
 • Verify Staple is now set to Off 
 • Verify that incompatible message also appears when Create Booklet or Fold is turned ON with Staple currently ON. 
 Supported sizes for Stapling
 • Staple is Live/selectable when any of these Copy To sizes is selected

 - A4
 - Legal
 - Folio
 - Oficio(Mexico)
 
 Paper sizes NOT supported for Stapling
 • Staple is Grayed out/Disabled when any of these Copy To sizes is selected
 - A6
 - SEF A5
 - JIS B5
 - Executive

 - Mixed sizes to Auto size match
 - Universal
 • Verify that there is NO UI clippings and missing or grayed out options when it is supported%2c vise-versa.
 • Also make sure - NO crash or hang will occur when navigating Finishing Options - STAPLE, PE ISSUE: EV338782
 
 1) Set Language from Preferences to English
 2) In Admin/Copy workflow%2c set Copy From to A4
 3) Set Copy To to Auto Size Match 
 4) Enable staple in Admin Settings
 5) Verify Staple is NOT disabled (Note** Put A4 paper size in Trays), PE ISSUE: EV338782
 
 1) Set Copy From to Auto Size Sense
 2) Set Copy To to Auto Size Match
 3) Enable staple in Admin Settings
 4) Modify the languages in Settings- Device- Preferences to non-default value
 (Cover all Languages in the selection)
 5) Verify that the Staple option in Copy Workflow DOES NOT affect by
 modifying Languages in Settings, Mixed Size Support:
 
 1) Open Copy Workflow
 2) Set Copy From to Mixed Sizes
 3) Set Copy To to Auto Size Match
 4) Open Finishing Options
