ATM_RID: BA9895C0-6E13-1014-AE2C-F7607F11BE22 ID: WFAST_Connectivity/FS_41.004_Digital_Certificates/5496 SUMMARY: DESCRIPTION: {DY 1.0, DY 2.5} [Removed in FT-14504] Because of current OpenSSL limitations on the string length of common names, If the SAKO attempts to either manually create a new Xerox Device Certificate or create a CSR with a FQDN > 64 characters, then the Web UI will display the following warning message: Invalid device Common Name. The device Common Name (host name + domain name) must not be greater than 63 characters in length. In order to continue creating a valid Xerox Device Certificate you must either edit the Common Name or the Fully Qualified Domain Name (HostName.DomainName) to meet this string length requirement. If the devices Common Name does not match the devices FQDN, the client browser(s) will display certificate errors when communicating with the Xerox device. This caveat/action will also be removed when OpenSSL removes the current string length limitations.
