If DDNS is not supported, then there may be a mis-match between this value and the Requested Host Name configured on this page.  If this occurs, then you may manually add the device Host Name and IP address to the DNS server database.  There may be instances where the user cannot update DNS and must use the VHN.VDN to access the device.  The VHN.VDN is the address that other devices on the net know the printer as (ie. the functioning FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name for the device)).   So it is possible that a device may be running correctly with these values being different (this may cause issues with other features such as HTTPS (with a symptom of security browser errors), (Kerberos, LDAP, IPsec may also be affected).|N|N
