SUMMARY: [22.180.027] FT-16849 [R16-08, D3.6-*]:  EXCEPTION:  Forced Alt Boot currently clears all configurations back to factory defaults. This is used to refurbish machines.  It is also used in limited cases to correct severe problems in the field.  This SRF does NOT require Forced Alt Boot to change, because of refurbish and engineering needs.  Forced Alt Boot currently has the ability for a Xerox CSE to select whether to revert to previous settings after the upgrade or not.  Therefore, for this customers processes, the CSE should be advised not to use Forced Alt Boot.  However, if they must, the CSE must select revert to previous settings in order to retain this features lockdown and notifications.
