DESCRIPTION: {DY 7.9} [+Crb, +Mlw, +Cmn, +Mga] If the Power button is held down for a significant duration (longer than a momentary button press i.e. >> 1s, the actual durations are product specific see section 10 for each products values) then the system will attempt a graceful shutdown but after a specific time elapses then power shall be immediately removed from the machine.
Note that this method is supported so that if the UI soft button does not function, or the Copy controller cannot shutdown for any reason, the machine can be switched off without requiring access to the power cable at the rear or the machine. This method removes power at the hardware level and the details are product and architecture specific.
